Do some calculations on what is the time of day you shouldn't pass without going to sleep, and put that paper on your desk in front of you, or stick it to the monitor. And then pay attention from time to time to your truck's dashboard clock.

It might be able to be done in the config files but I don't know if there is and perhaps one of the more experienced players like Fury6 might be able to help if they notice this thread. You will have to find a mod that reduces or eliminates traffic fines. I just turn it off and manage my own sleep.

You get a message when you can rest. Park, stop the engine, and press the control the game tells you to use to rest. You visit the Sandman for a while and then come back to life to drive again.
