It cuts out and you get teleported in diffrenet places. Lost Coast was meant to be placed about there in the original game, but was taken out. It was later added as a seperate game with High res Graphics. Dont know why it was removed. But if you read the original story from Valve and what Half Life 2 was going to be.

I just replayed lost coast because why not. But I normally always turn off commentary, but this time I was like "♥♥♥♥ it, I'll see what that's like." and I've never had such an easy time playing a half life game. Every time you hit a commentary bubble it'll pause all enemies, and if one does pause, they do no damage to you anyway. It's ultra easy mode lol. In-Game.
