Just started back after weekend away and the engine management light has come on and the engine seems slightly sluggish and also seems to be missing slightly.the journey out was fine and the van was never moved during our stay but as soon as I started up the light came on, it is a Ducato Autotrail Cheyenne 2004 2.8
If it's a bit more serious the engine management will restrict power as well. So it's OK to still drive it, the light doesn't mean "call the recovery truck" or "your engine has just blown up" ! If the CEL shows, there will be one or more fault codes logged which a Fiat dealer can read via the Onboard Diagnostics (OBD) connector.
